Coolpad Cool Play 6C specifications, price

Coolpad unveiled another smartphone in its home country called Coolpad Cool Play 6C, successor to Coolpad Cool Play 6. It’s a selfie-focused smartphone launched for selfie lovers featuring dual front cameras. The smartphone has been priced at CNY 849 and will be available to buy from November 25.

Cool Play 6C sports 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by a 1.25GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core SoC paired with Adreno 308 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.

In terms of optics, the smartphone sports 13MP rear camera with autofocus, PDAF, HDR, face beauty, face detection, low light mode, manual mode, dual LED flash. The highlight of the smartphone is its dual selfie camera setup which features 8MP + 5MP sensors with f/2.2 aperture, and 120-degree wide angle lens.


It’s a dual SIM (Nano) smartphone that packs 2500mAh non-removable battery with support for fast charging. The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and sports fingerprint sensor which comes embedded in the home button. Connectivity options on board Coolpad Cool Play 6C include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS, Micro USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on the smartphone include proximity, accelerometer, and ambient light.

China-based users can pre-order Coolpad Cool Play 6C via JD.com. As of now, there is no announcement on device’s availability in other global markets.
