Paytm Payments Bank to deliver cash at home during COVID-19 pandemic

Paytm Payments Bank on Friday announced a ‘Cash at Home‘ facility to help and support senior and differently-abled citizens during this COVID-19 pandemic so that they do not step out to fetch money.

Customers can raise cash withdrawal requests directly from the Paytm Payments Bank app and Paytm will ensure that the requested amount gets delivered at their home. The service has been made available initially for the Delhi-NCR customers.

To avail the facility, all you have to do is log in to your account via the PPBL (Paytm Payments Bank Limited) app and tap on the Request tab. Now, enter the desired amount and then submit the request. The requested amount will get delivered safely at your doorstep by a bank executive within 2 days of raising the request.

Is there a limit? Yes, you can submit a withdrawal request of a minimum of 1,000 and a maximum of 5,000.

“‘Cash at Home’ facility is the latest among the services that we have launched to make the banking experience more convenient and accessible for our customers,” says Paytm.

Paytm recently launched the Direct Benefits Transfer (DBT) facility allowing customers to receive the benefits of over 400 government subsidies directly into their PPBL savings account.

“Our aim is to ensure that we provide smooth banking facilities to our customers and this is one of those additions. We hope this facility will ease your problems of going to bank/ATM and will also help you stay at home during this lockdown period,” stated Paytm Payments Bank in a press release.
