South Korean tech giant has extended its M-series portfolio with an all-new Samsung Galaxy M51. The smartphone has been launched in Germany and is up for sale. It will be launched in India on September 10, 2020, and the company has already been advertising it as “Meanest Monster Ever.”

As of now, Samsung has listed only a single variant of M51 on its store with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has been priced at € 360 (approx Rs. 31,450) and is available to pre-order in Black and White color options.

It features a hole-punch 6.7-inch FHD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 19.5:5 aspect ratio and on top protecting it is the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Samsung has not revealed processor details powering up the phone but mentions an octa-core SoC. However, it is expected to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC. The smartphone runs Android 10-based Samsung’s One UI 2.0.

The device accepts two Nano SIMs and supports Samsung Knox for defense-grade security which is a multi-layered security mechanism integrated into the hardware and software of the smartphone to protect sensitive data from malware and other threats. For quick unlocking, the fingerprint sensor comes mounted on the side.

With M51, Samsung promises a smooth gaming experience even with graphics-intensive games. The storage is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. As mentioned, the phone packs a massive 7,000mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support.
