Indian Government recently approved Bharat Biotech’s intra-nasal Covid vaccine named iNCOVACC. The vaccine will only be available at private centers for now.
“Bharat Biotech’s nasal vaccine Incovacc has been approved as a booster dose. The vaccine will be available in private centers and will be introduced on Co-WIN on Friday evening,” said Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.
A few weeks back, the vaccine got the approval of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation and can only be administered to those above 18 years of age.
Those who have taken Covishield and Covaxin can take Incovacc intra-nasal vaccine as a booster shot. Pricing of the vaccine will be decided soon and for now, it will be made available in private facilities only.
