Lionel Messi orders 35 gold iPhone 14 Pro for his teammates and staff

To celebrate Argentina’s 2022 FIFA World Cup historic win, the Argentinian football legend Lionel Messi bought a total of 35 gold-plated iPhone 14 Pro models for himself and his teammates and staff who were part of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Each model features a personalized panel made of 24-karat gold that comes engraved with “World Cup Champions 2022” in the middle.

Argentina won the 2022 FIFA World Cup which was held in Qatar in December defeating France in a penalty shootout. Argentina became world champions for the first time since 1986. With a golden iPhone 14 Pro as a gift, Messi shows his appreciation for his teammates with a unique and memorable gesture.

Each iPhone 14 Pro model is custom-made with the person’s name and kit number printed next to the camera module, the AFA (Argentine Football Association) logo engraved in the middle with the tagline “World Cup Champions 2022“, and the iDesign Gold logo at the bottom. Each device comes packed in a fancy box with a certificate of authenticity.

The gold-plated iPhone 14 Pro models are designed by iDesign Gold- “It was an honor to deliver 35 gold iPhone 14 to @leomessi for his teammates & staff as a gift for winning the world cup final.”

The golden phone is crafted by replacing the panel with a panel made of 24-karat gold with customized designs. As per the iDesign Gold website, each gold-plated iPhone 14 Pro unit carries a price tag of EUR 4,000 (approx Rs. 3,70,000). Doing the calculation for 35 such units, Messi could have spent EUR 1,40,000 (approx Rs. 1,21,37,000) for this memorable gift.
