MWC 2023: Oneplus Joins The Foldable League

Oneplus announced a foldable smartphone that features a 2K display at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2023) in Barcelona, Spain. The upcoming foldable smartphone is said to offer a rich and smooth experience. It will join the league with brands like Samsung, Oppo, and Motorola in the foldable business. During the same event, The brand also unveiled the OnePlus 11 Concept phone. The handset comes with a miniaturized active liquid cooling system.

The manufacturer has confirmed the launch of its first foldable smartphone later this year. “The foldable smartphone will come with a fast and smooth experience. He confirmed that the phone will be a flagship phone that won’t compromise on its folding form, including industrial design and mechanical technology,” OnePlus’ president and COO Kinder Liu said in a press statement.

No additional details about specifications are available at the moment. According to the leaks and reports it is expected that Oneplus’ foldable smartphone will feature a 2K display same as Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
