Vivo X Fold 2 Full Specifications Leaked Ahead of April 20 Launch

While Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip are all set to launch in China on April 20, with Launch Date Approaching, Vivo Teases Foldable Phone Designs on Weibo. A tipster has leaked the specifications of both devices. The Vivo X Fold 2 is tipped to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, while Vivo X Flip is said to pack a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The former could feature a 4,800mAh battery, while the latter is said to house a 4,400mAh battery.

Vivo X Fold 2 Specifications

According to recent leaks, the smartphone will feature an impressive 8.03-inch primary display with a resolution of 1,916 x 2,160 pixels and a 4:3.5 aspect ratio. Additionally, it is expected to come with a 6.53-inch secondary screen boasting a resolution of 1,080 x 2,520 pixels and a 21:9 aspect ratio.

Both screens may have a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, providing users with a smooth and immersive viewing experience. Under the hood, the device is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS4.0 storage.

In terms of camera, the Vivo X Fold 2 is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 12-megapixel portrait sensor.

For selfies and video chats, the device could have a 16-megapixel sensor located on the front. Powering the device is said to be a 4,800mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging using a wired charger and 50W fast charging using a wireless charger.

Additionally, the device is expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. In terms of dimensions, it is rumored to measure 161.3×73.4×13mm (6-6.7mm when unfolded) and weigh around 280 grams. It may come in black, blue, and red shades

Vivo X Flip Specifications

The device is rumored to feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,520 pixels, a 21:9 aspect ratio, and a high pixel density of 406ppi. The display is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ content playback.

Additionally, the foldable phone could come with a 3-inch cover display. Powering the device could be a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS3.1 storage.

According to recent leaks, the smartphone is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel secondary ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video chats, the device could have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

The device is rumored to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and is expected to be powered by a 4,400mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The device could measure 166.4mm×75.3mm×8.2mm and weigh around 200 grams. It could be offered in black, gold, and purple color options.
