Vivo X9: Price, Specifications, Features, & More

Vivo has launched three new smartphones X9, X9 Plus, and Xplay6 in China on Wednesday. Recently, the company has also launched a brand new smartphone in India called Vivo V5.

Let’s talk about Vivo X9, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch FHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. X9 is powered by an octa-core 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It comes in two storage options- 64GB and 128GB. Now, it’s up to you to chose the one that suits you the best in terms of storage need.




It comes with 16MP rear camera with LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto focus), and f/2.0 aperture. The highlight of the smartphone is its dual front-facing cameras- 20MP + 8MP. Front cameras comes with Sony IMX376 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.

It’s a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) smartphone which also supports 4G VoLTE connectivity. It comes with company’s own UI called FuntouchOS 3.0 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also sports a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. Connectivity options include- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and FM Radio. The smartphone is packed with 3050mAh battery which comes with fast charging support. Sensors on board include- Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

The 64GB variant of Vivo X9 has been priced at CNY 2,798 (appx. Rs. 28,000) and, on the other hand, for 128GB variant, you have to pay CNY 2,998 (appx. Rs. 30,000). Vivo X9 is now available to buy in Gold and Rose Gold color options.
