Gionee has launched its M6S Plus smartphone in China that comes at a starting price of CNY 3,499. The smartphone packs a large 6020mAh battery for a day long non stop entertainment. It also packs 6GB of RAM which is more than sufficient for any smartphone. It will be available in two storage variants- 64GB and 256GB, priced at CNY 3,499 (approx Rs. 32,500) and CNY 4,299 (approx Rs. 40,000) respectively. Getting on to the specifications, the all new M6S Plus smartphone sports 6-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) Oncell AMOLED display. It is powered by 1.95GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. As mentioned above, it comes in two storage options- 64GB and 256GB, expandable up to 256GB.
The smartphone features 12MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP front facing camera to capture selfies. It sports fingerprint sensor on the rear side of the phone embedded below the camera module and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Amigo 3.5 OS.
It’s a dual SIM (Nano SIM) smartphone that supports 4G LTE connectivity and comes packed with 6020mAh battery. Gionee claims that the smartphone has advanced security features in terms of making payments and said that its live fingerprint scanning feature fetches user’s fingerprint and heart rate for enhanced security.
Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB 2.0, GPS, FM Radio, and supports USB OTG (on-the-go).
