Samsung has launched yet another smartphone in India that comes at a price tag of Rs. 16,900. It’s a Flipkart exclusive smartphone that will be made available in Black and Gold color options. The device will be available to buy starting July 10 midnight.
It comes with 4GB of RAM and is powered by MediaTek MTK P25 octa-core (four cores clocked at 2.39GHz & four cores clocked at 1.69GHz) SoC. Galaxy On Max sports metal unibody design with large 5.7-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) display and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. In terms of storage, the device comes packed with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 256GB via micoSD card.
The smartphone features 13MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and LED flash while on the front side, it features 13MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture lens and LED flash. The LED flash on both front and back side ensures better low light photography. The camera UI also features Social Media Mode for instant photo sharing. “Galaxy On Max is the perfect device for this, enabling users to click brilliant photographs under all light conditions,” said Sandeep Singh Arora, Vice President (Online Business), Samsung India.
It’s a dual-SIM smartphone and comes packed with 3300mAh non-removable battery that keeps you going all day long, claims Samsung. It also features fingerprint sensor that comes embedded in device’s home button. It also packs standard connectivity options such as WiFi, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and micro-USB port.
Other features include support for Samsung Pay Mini, a trimmed down version of Samsung Pay, that acts like a smart wallet replacing other e-wallets and e-banking mobile apps. You can make all online payments with Samsung Pay Mini quickly, thanks to its UPI (Unified Payment Interface) and mobile wallet.
