HRX edition Xiaomi Mi Band specifications, price

Xiaomi has introduced another fitness band in India and it’s an ‘HRX by Hrithik Roshan‘ special edition Mi Band. The fitness band will be made available in the country starting September 18 via Mi.com, Mi Store app, and Mi Home offline retail stores located across the country. You can also buy it from Myntra, Flipkart, and Amazon starting September 20 at a price of Rs. 1,299.

The HRX edition Mi Band looks similar to Mi Band 2 which was launched at a price of Rs. 1,999, however, the latest band from Mi lacks heart rate sensor but packs longer battery life and is priced cheaper. It sports power-efficient, UV coated, scratches and fingerprint resistant OLED display that shows time when you lift your wrist and there is also a touch button right at the bottom of the display panel which when tapped shows steps count and calories burnt.

The fitness band also packs enhanced pedometer algorithm that filters out unnecessary movements and tracks steps count and exercises more accurately. When you sit still for too long, it alerts you to take a short walk or drink water when it’s time. It’s perfect for the morning person who daily goes out for a walk or running as the band can measure distance covered and calories burnt in real time which you can monitor via the Mi Fit app available on the Play Store.

The HRX edition Mi band also tracks your sleep patterns and can unlock your smartphone quickly without the need of entering passcode or scanning fingerprint. It also alerts you when you receive a call, message, or any other notification and the greatest thing is that it has been rated IP67 for water, dust, and splash resistance so you can take shower or wash hands without any worries.

As part of the partnership deal with HRX by Hrithik Roshan, the fitness band sports HRX logo on the strap. In terms of wireless connectivity, it packs 2nd generation low-energy Bluetooth v4.0 chipset. It has a battery life of 23 days, 3 days more in comparison to Mi Band 2. The special edition Mi Band straps are available in Black and Blue colors.
