Samsung has added another smartphone to its Galaxy J series called Galaxy J7+ featuring dual rear camera setup. First spotted on Samsung Thailand website, the smartphone comes with a price tag of THB 12,900 (approx $390 OR Rs. 24,900) and in three color options- Black, Gold, and Rose Gold.
Samsung Galaxy J7+ sports full metal body with 5.5-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2.39GHz MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 256GB via microSD card. The smartphone also sports Samsung’s own AI-powered voice assistant Bixby that works the same way as Apple’s Siri and Google’s Google Assistant. You can learn more about it here.
The smartphone features dual rear cameras, 13MP with f/1.7 aperture and 5MP with f/1.9 aperture. Both cameras work together to produce a clearer photograph, there is also a feature that allows users to blur the background while capturing i.e. in real-time. Other rear camera features include LED flash, panorama, face detection, autofocus, and HDR. It also packs 16MP selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture and both LED and screen flash allowing you to capture brighter images in low-light conditions.
It’s a dual SIM (Nano) hybrid smartphone that comes packed with 3000mAh non-removable battery. Galaxy J7+ runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and sports fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button. Connectivity options include- 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, FM Radio, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on the smartphone include proximity, ambient light, accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer.
The all new Samsung smartphone supports dual app feature allowing you to create a copy of any supported app such as WhatsApp meaning that users can run two WhatsApp accounts simultaneously. The device also supports multi-window feature that let users use more than one app at the same time and the pop-up window feature that can open up to 5 screens simultaneously. Galaxy J7+ also sports always-on display to show important notifications and with Secure Folder feature, only you can access your private files and apps on your phone.
Customers who pre-book the phone in Thailand can get Samsung U Flex wireless earphones worth THB 2,490 for free. There are no words on its availability in markets other than Thailand.
