Honor 7C (India) features 18:9 display, up to 4GB RAM: Full specifications

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor recently introduced an all-new budget smartphone named Honor 7C in India alongside Honor 7A. It comes in two storage configurations- 3GB/ 32GB and 4GB/ 64GB- and features 18:9 display ratio. Honor 7A was launched in China last month while the 7C was launched in March.

The 3GB/ 32GB variant of Honor 7C has been priced at Rs. 9,999 while the 4GB/ 64GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 11,999. The phone will be available to buy via Amazon India from May 31 in Red, Black, Blue, and Gold color options. You can also purchase it from HiHonor online store.

Coming on to its specifications, the smartphone sports 5.99-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 268ppi pixel density and there is 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 450 SoC paired with Adreno 506 GPU and your choice of RAM- 3GB or 4GB. It comes in two internal storage (32GB/ 64GB) options as mentioned earlier which is expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

Honor 7C features dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), touch focus, panorama, HDR, face detection, and LED flash. The 13MP sensor on the rear is for capturing images while the 2MP sensor focuses on depth of filed to provide you a focused image. On the front side, the smartphone sports 8MP fixed focus selfie sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Both front and back cameras also offer portrait mode.

The device runs Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 and supports face unlock feature. There is also a fingerprint sensor which comes mounted on the rear panel. We always recommend using fingerprint sensor or other traditional unlock methods over face scanner in such smartphones. It also offers features like eye protection mode and a split-screen mode that allow users to split the screen into two so that you could chat with your friends while watching YouTube videos.

Other modes include Gaming Mode that allows you to have fun without any disturbance and Ride Mode for bikers to keep distractions away while riding. The smartphone offers real-time audio monitoring through the earbuds and supports SWS3.1 virtual bass and thereby offers recording studio-type experience by letting you hear your own voice while you record it. What’s more is the Smart Power 5.0 system that enables multiple power saving modes, giving you more time to have more fun. There is also a dual Bluetooth feature allowing users to connect the phone to two Bluetooth enabled devices at the same time.

It’s a dual SIM (Nano) smartphone which features a dedicated slot for microSD card so you don’t have to compromise. Powering up the device is the 3000mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options onboard Honor 7C include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS, micro USB 2.0 port, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on the smartphone include proximity, accelerometer, ambient light, and magnetometer.
