OnePlus enters the Monitor business; Launches Two Products

OnePlus, as announced earlier, has launched two new monitors making their debut in the field of computer monitors. On December 12, the company launched the X 27 and E 24 desktop monitors. Both monitors come with a sleek look and support up to 165Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus Monitor X 27

OnePlus’s top-of-the-line X 27 model comes with a price tag of INR 27,999 and will be available to buy starting December 15.

The X 27 features a 27-inch, 2560×1440 resolution, 165Hz IPS panel. As per the company’s claims, the monitor has 1ms response times and supports 10-bit color, 95% DCI-P3 coverage, and DisplayHDR 400 certification. The monitor is also AMD FreeSync Premium certified for variable refresh rate support with AMD GPU.

The IPS panel comes with a 178-degree wide-angle view, DisplayHDR 400, 350 nits of brightness, and an aspect ratio of 16:9. There’s also support for a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut and the TUV Rheinland certification (for reduced blue light and flicker-free images).

The X 27 has a metal body with an adjustable metal stand, with full tilt, pivot, and rotation support. OnePlus X 27 comes with an additional USB-C connector with DisplayPort Alt-Mode support and can also send out 65W of power over USB-PD.

OnePlus Monitor E 24

The trimmed-down next-in-the-line model E 24 features a TUV Rheinland-certified 24-inch (1920×1080 pixels) bezel-less IPS display panel with a 75Hz refresh rate. The screen modes remain the same as the Monitor X 27. Additionally, the E 24 has an HDMI 1.4 port, a VGA port, a Type-C port, and a headphone jack.

The monitor boasts an 8mm alim body and supports Adaptive-Sync technology for dynamic frame rate control. OnePlus E24 offers built-in cable management like X 27 for a clutter-free desk and a metal stand with tilt and rotate adjustments.

The pricing and availability for the E 24 model have not yet been announced.
