Your favourite Honda car might cost you Rs.30,000 more from January

Honda cars India, announced today, an increase in the price of all its production models by Rs 30,000 due to increased cost pressure driven by overall inflation and recent regulatory requirements.

“After assessing the consistent increase in the input cost of raw materials and upcoming regulatory requirements, we will have to undergo a price revision for our products from January 23. The increment will be in the range of up to Rs 30,000 and vary from model to model,” concerned authorities said.

After the price revision, the fourth-gen Honda City sedan now retails at a price of Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom), which could cost you around Rs 9.30 Lakh (ex-showroom). The fifth-gen Honda City also received a price hike of Rs 17,500 across its petrol and diesel variants. The fifth-gen Honda City sedan price now starts at Rs 11.46 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.47 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end variant.

Honda Amaze will now cost you Rs 6.56 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model, while the top-end variant will cost you around Rs 11.43 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Honda WR-V SUV has received the smallest hike, which will cost you around Rs 9 Lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 12.24 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end variant.

Honda Jazz will cost you Rs 12,500 more from January. After the price revision, the Honda Jazz price starts at Rs 7.96 Lakh instead of Rs 7.84 Lakh (ex-showroom).
