Jaguar XF: Specifications, Features, Price & More

The new updated Jaguar XF variant has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs.49.50 lakh. It’s the first time, with Jaguar XF 2016, British carmaker will be offering 2.0-litre Ingenium Diesel engine in India.

Deliveries for the Jaguar XF will begin from the end of September. Customers can pre-book Jaguar XF with a token amount of Rs.5 lakh. Juguar XF comes is available in three variants- XF Pure, XF Prestige, and XF Portfolio. Jaguar XF models comes both in Diesel and Petrol engine options.

The all new Ingenium 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine delivers 177bhp and produces a peak torque of 430Nm while on the other hand, the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which produces 237bhp and generates a peak torque of 340Nm.  Both the engines are paired with 8-speed automatic transmission.

Petrol Variant :

Displacement – 1,999cc

Max Power – 237bhp

Max Torque- 340Nm

Diesel Variant :

Displacement – 1,999cc

Max Power – 177bhp

Max Torque- 430Nm

Jaguar XF top model will cost you Rs.62.10 lakh. Talking about the interiors, the car is more spacious as the knee-room is increased by 15mm and headroom by 24mm. It features ambient mood lighting in 10 colors. The infotainment system comes in two options i.e. InControl Touch on the XF Pure and XF Prestige and InControl Touch on the XF Portfolio, both featuring 10.2-inch display. Supplied by Meridian, the sound system features 11 speakers in Prestige and Pure while in Portfolio, the number in increased to 17 speakers. It also sports 12.3-inch fully TFT instrument cluster and a laser HUD.

In terms of exteriors, the all new Jaguar XF sports LED headlamps with the signature J blade daytime running lights while the tail lights feature a distinctive Jaguar F-type inspired double roundel. It also features chrome framed, Jaguar embossed mesh side vents. The grille and front bumper has been redesigned.
