Amazfit has launched Amazfit T-Rex Pro rugged smartwatch in India carrying military-grade (MIL-STD-810) certifications for its durability in extreme conditions. It has passed 15 military-grade tests including 70-degree heat resistance, – 40-degree cold resistance, shock resistance, dust resistance, and water resistance to name a few.

The smartwatch has been priced at Rs. 12,999 and is available to buy via the company’s online store in Desert Grey, Steel Blue, and Meteorite Black color options. You can also buy it from Amazon India starting March 28, 2021.

The Amazfit T-Rex Pro smartwatch features a 1.3-inch HD (360×360 pixels) AMOLED Always-on display. It supports over 100 different sports modes and its ExerSense workout recognition algorithm, developed by the company itself, automatically recognizes eight sports modes and records related data. These eight modes include walking, indoor walking, treadmill, outdoor running, outdoor cycling, rowing machine, elliptical, pool swimming.
With the T-Rex Pro, jump into the pool or open water bodies without any worries as the watch is water-resistant to a depth of up to 100 meters, thanks to its 10 ATM water-resistance, allowing you to surf, swim, and enjoy other water sports. The four GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) supported by the watch offers global positioning with a higher level of accuracy.
T-Rex pro also comes with blood oxygen saturation monitoring (SpO2) which alerts you whenever it detects major altitude changes and asks you to run the test. It assures that there is a certain level of oxygen in the blood in order for the body to function efficiently.
The smartwatch also has a heart rate sensor for 24-hour heart rate monitoring and alerts you when it finds something uneven such as a higher heart rate. It can also record users’ heart rate variability (HRV) for stress level monitoring. The watch also monitors your sleep quality including daytime naps and records sleep patterns- light, deep, and REM sleep. Other than that, users can control music, get interactive incoming call alerts, view notifications and messages, and get event reminders.
Amazfit T-Rex Pro packs a 390 mAh battery which delivers up to 18 days backup on typical usage, up to 9 days on heavy usage, and continuous GPS working time of up to 40 hours. The battery can be fueled to 100% in about 1.5-hour via a magnetic charger. Sensors on the smartwatch include a 3-axis acceleration sensor, 3-axis gyroscope sensor, geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, barometric altimeter, and BioTracker 2 PPG bio-tracking optical sensor. For smooth connectivity with your smartphone, it has Bluetooth v5.0 and runs on RTOs operating system. The watch is compatible with smartphones running Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and above.
