Tekken 7 to release in June, Up for Pre-order

Bandai Namco has delayed the release of Tekken 7 game as it was set to release early this year. The game will now be out on June 2 and will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Tekken 7 is currently up for pre-orders for all the platforms. If you are a PC user then you can directly head over to Steam Store while Xbox One and PS4 users can pre-order it via different retailers like Amazon, Best Buy or consoles’ own stores. It will be releasing On December 31, 2017 in India and can be pre-ordered from Amazon India and Steam store.

The game will feature new characters and challengers with a distinct set of martial arts and techniques. Tekken 7 is packed with photorealistic graphics, innovative features, and fighting mechanics apart from 3D battle system. It represents the final chapter of the 20-year old Mishima Feud.

Besides a dedicated story mode and an expanded roster of new characters, the game also features some brand new gameplay mechanics like Rage System, a system that gives you access to two all-new devastating moves, Rage Art and Rage Drive, to protect your character from the damage and to make a comeback when your character is massively hurt and the life bar starts flashing red. Apart from Rage System, Rage Art, Rage Drive, the game also adds a Power Crush Mechanics, an armored attack that shifts the momentum in your favor.




Tekken 7 comes in four editions- Day 1 Edition, Digital Edition, Digital Deluxe, and Collector’s Edition. Day 1 and Collector’s editions are only available for Xbox One and PS4 users. All edition adds Eliza Bonus DLC character. Day 1 Edition offers PS4 users legacy costumes from Tekken 2 and Tekken 4 for characters King, Xiaoyu, and Kin additionally alongside Jukebox Mode where fans can listen to classic Tekken tracks while playing the game. On the other hand Xbox One users receives Tekken 6 Backward Compatibility for a limited time.

Deluxe Edition offers exclusive PS4 theme to PS4 users and packs legacy costumes and Jukebox mode mentioned above. This edition remains same as Day 1 edition for Xbox One users. PC users can also avail this edition offering Eliza Bonus DLC character.

Digital Deluxe edition offers a season pass which gives you access to three content packs featuring new playable characters, stages, a game mode, and a bonus 35-piece Metallic Costume Pack alongside above mentioned features. While the Collector’s Edition includes- 12″ x 18″ Kazuya and Heihachi figure, Tekken 7 original game soundtrack, steel box, collector’s box, and Tekken 7 Day 1 Edition game software.

As said above, Tekken 7 will be releasing on June 2, 2017 and is available to pre-order from Amazon, Bandai Namco Store, GameStop, Best Buy, Microsoft store, Walmart, and other platforms. PC users can pre-order it by visiting the Steam store. The Collector’s Edition has been priced at $149.99 while Standard Edition will cost you $59.99 for Xbox One users and $50.99 for PS4 users. Digital Deluxe comes at a price tag of $84.99 while Digital Edition bears a price tag of $59.99 for both Xbox One and PS4 gamers.
