Reliance Launched Its First Android Based 4G LTE Home Phone


After launching two JioFi devices and a 4G JioFi dongle, Reliance has now launched its first wireless 4G LTE Android Home Phone in India. The home phone has a built-in SIM and supports 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity. The all new wireless device from Reliance Communications has also been listed on the company’s website.

The home phone sports 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen and can be connected to eight WiFi enabled devices at a time as it also has hot-spot functionality. The home phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and is capable of cascading YouTube videos to a compatible Smart TV. Here are the key features of the new Android wireless home phone:

However, Reliance communications haven’t revealed the price of the new 4G LTE Android-based home phone. We will update you for the same once we get updated, that sounds funny. Anyway, getting to the plans and pricing, Reliance may be offering 4G Smart Life 299 at a price of Rs.299 and 4G Smart Life 499 for Rs.499 plans, which will offer you 300 free voice calling minutes (include STD, local, and roaming calls). Let me tell you more specifically, each time you will make a call whether it’s STD, local, or incoming calls on national roaming, your allotted minutes will be deducted. On the other hand, you will get 2GB 4G data with Rs.299 plan and 4GB data with Rs.499 plan. The above mentioned plans are not yet officially confirmed.
