Seven Pakistani soldiers were killed by Indian shelling across the frontier overnight in the disputed region of Kashmir, said Pakistan on Monday.
According to the military media wing, ISPR, seven Pakistani soldiers were killed by Indian Army last night in the Bhimber sector along the Line of Control in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Pakistan Military said that Indian Army used heavy artillery and anti-tank guided missiles to respond to unprovoked firing from Pakistan. The details that has come overnight has now virtually defunct the ceasefire agreement.
India’s High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale has been summoned by the Pakistan Government to lodge formal complaint.
Both the countries have been reporting deaths of military personnel since the surgical strike because of the ceasefire violations. Cross-border firing has been increased since the surgical strike. According to reports, Pakistan has violated ceasefire agreement more than 60 times.
