Tecno Phantom V Fold has been launched in India. Tencno unveiled Phantom V Fold at MWC 2023, the most affordable foldable smartphone. The company showcased the smartphone stating it will be World’s first Left-Right foldable smartphone. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset which has an AnTuTu Score of 1.08 Million.
Price and Availability
The smartphone has been launched in India with two storage variants, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, priced at Rs. 89,999 and Rs. 99,999 respectively. However, customers can avail of a special early bird offer exclusively on Amazon India from April 12, with the phone being sold at a discounted price of Rs. 77,777 for a limited time or until stocks last. This offer is available for both variants of the device.
Features and Specifications
The Tecno Phantom V Fold features a 6.42-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2550) LTPO AMOLED cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while its main display measures 7.85 inches and offers 2K resolution (2000 x 2296) when opened.
The smartphone is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC, and comes with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
In terms of camera specifications, the Phantom V Fold boasts a 5-camera system, with three cameras located on the back of the device – a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel 2x zoom lens, and a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens. The foldable phone also has two selfie cameras, with a 32-megapixel sensor located on the front panel and a 16-megapixel sensor located inside.
The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and offers 45W wired fast charging capabilities, although it does not support wireless charging. Tecno claims that the device’s battery can be charged up to 40 percent in just 15 minutes, and can be fully charged in approximately 55 minutes.
