MWC 2023: Realme GT 3 Powered By Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Launched

Realme GT 3 launched globally at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC 2023) in Barcelona. The design highlight of the smartphone is the RBG LED notification panel at the back called ‘Pulse Interface’. The Realme GT 3 is claimed to be the world’s fastest-charging flagship. The device is backed by a 4,600mAh battery which offers a standby time of up to 21 days.

Realme GT 3 Price and availability

The Realme GT 3 comes in Five different variants – 8GB/128GB storage variant, 12GB/256GB storage variant, 16GB/256GB storage variant, 16GB/512GB storage variant, and 16GB/1TB storage variant.

The price starts for the base version starts roughly from $649 (approx Rs. 53,500). Prices of other variants are yet to be announced by the company.

The brand is yet to reveal the details about the availability of the Realme GT 3 in markets other than the US.

Realme GT 3 specifications

Sporting a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate which produces 1,400 nits of peak brightness, the smartphone runs on Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

The Realme GT 3 gets a triple rear camera setup at the back which includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor (f/1.88) with OIS. Additionally, an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor with a 112-degree field of view (f/3.3) lens and a 2MP macro sensor (f/3.3) lens. At the front, there is a 16MP camera sensor for selfies.

At the back, there is an RGB notification panel called Pulse Interface, placed next to the camera module. The transparent panel offers 25 colours with custom settings for notifications, low battery, and more. The device also features an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

For immersive experience, Realme GT 3 offers dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos surround sound tech. It also comes equipped with X-axis linear motor for better vibration feedback and for thermal management it includes a stainless steel Vapor Cooling System Max 2.0.

The smartphone comes packed with a 4,600 mAh battery and supports 240W SUPERVOOC fast-charging. Realme claims that a 30-second charge cycle can provide enough fuel for 3-hours of music listening, 40-minutes of video streaming, or a 2-hour call. If you keep the charging adapter on for 10 minutes then you will have a fully-charged Realme GT 3, that’s how fast the charging is as per the claims.
