Xiaomi has finally revealed when it is going to launch the Redmi 4 smartphone in China. The smartphone has been in rumors till now but now the launch date is official and it is November 4. Xiaomi may also be revealing Redmi 4A alongside Redmi 4.
Xiaomi has announced the upcoming launch of the Redmi 4 at November 4 event. During this event Xiaomi may also be unveiling Redmi 4 low-cost variant called Redmi 4A. Leaked image doesn’t reveal much about the smartphone, but the smartphone appears to be of metal frame and display glass that is curved at the edges.
Redmi 4 sport a 5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) LCD display with a full metal body with capacitive button at the front, and volume buttons at the right. Previously leaks for the Redmi 4 shows the device was powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core snapdragon 625 processor paired with a 3GB of RAM, and according to earlier leak had pointed to the use of a MediaTek Helio P10 SoC instead.
The Redmi 4 bundled with 32GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD card upto 128GB. Redmi 4 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. It comes with a 4100mAh battery.
According to the rumors, Redmi 4 will be available in gray, silver, and gold color options. Talking about the rumored price, it’s quite expensive compared to its predecessors and according to it, Redmi 4 will be available at a price of CNY 1,300. The phone will be running latest version of company’s MIUI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
