All you have to do is to put your face in front of the screen and the “true depth camera system” located at the top will take care of the rest, unlocking the phone within seconds. The Touch ID is replaced with Face ID on the iPhone X. You must be wondering what if someone places your photo or makes a clone of your face and place it in front to unlock the device, well, it’s not gonna happen. The all new Face ID maps your face with over 30,000 dots to recognize you and it makes sure that it is you. Not just it, it also learns your face day-by-day and saves the changes you have made to your face in order to make sure it is you every time you unlock the device. You can wear a hat or a glass or do it up any way you want to do it, the Face ID still works. The Face ID is the future of unlocking the smartphones and it works in day and night. According to Apple, the chances that someone can trick Face ID and break into the iPhone are 1 in 1,000,000.

The true depth camera system packs ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, speaker, microphone, front camera, dot projector, infrared camera, and flood illuminator in one place located at the top of the iPhone X. The Face ID feature can also be used for authentication in Apple Pay, making paying for stuff more convenient.

It is controlled with your face and tracks over 50 face movements to lay your facial expression into cartoon faces or emojis.

No Home button: Apple with iPhone X has ditched the home button and has made the interface easier. You just have to tap on the screen to wake it up and swipe up to unlock the device. Tap on any app to open it and swipe up and throw the app to close it. You can switch between apps with just a swipe from left-to-right or right-to-left or swipe up the current app and leave it instead of throwing it, you will see all the opened apps, just swipe and tap on the app to open the app you want to switch to. Swipe down the screen to open the control center and a lot more which you can experience when you get your hands on the device. To activate Siri, just say “hey, Siri.”

The chipset is the most powerful and smartest ever in a smartphone, claims the company. The A11 Bionic SoC is 25 percent faster than A10 Fusion chipset and packs two extra high-efficiency cores in comparison.
