Honor 10 Lite with Kirin 710 SoC launched: Full specifications

Huawei-owned Honor launches Honor 10 Lite in China which is a stripped down version of the Honor 10, launched earlier this year. The smartphone is up for grab and will start shipping as early as tomorrow i.e. November 22 in Gradient Blue, Gradient Red, Lily Valley White, and Magic Night Black color options.

It has been priced at CNY 1399 (approx Rs. 14,390 or $202) for the 4GB/64GB variant while the variant with 6GB/64GB storage configuration comes with a price tag of CNY 1699 (approx Rs. 17,500 or $245). The top model with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will cost you CNY 1899 (approx Rs. 19,500 or $270). There are no words on smartphone’s availability in India but it may make its way to the country like Honor 10.

Honor 10 Lite sports 6.12-inch FHD+ (1080×2340 pixels) IPS LCD display with 19.5:9 display ratio and pixel density of 415ppi. It is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core (4×2.2 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×1.7 GHz Cortex-A53) processor paired with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU and 4GB/6GB RAM. The internal storage (64GB/128GB) can be expanded further up to 512GB via microSD card.

The device sports dual camera setup on the rear with a 13MP primary sensor with PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and f1.8 aperture AND a 2MP secondary depth sensor, paired with an LED flash. On the front, the smartphone features a 24MP selfie sensor with 0.9µm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, and HDR. The front camera system comes integrated with pixel-binning tech to emulate 1.8µm pixel size and using the AI, that learns from your photos to optimize them with time, features you can enhance your photos by adjusting lights, the shape of the face and its color, the size, and color of the eye, and more.

 Honor 10 Lite runs on Android 9.0 Pie-based EMUI 9.0.1 and supports GPU Turbo 2.0 developed by Huawei which promises to boost the gaming experience. The tech delivers high frame rates and 36% reduced touch input latency. It also comes with a game app assistant that block notifications or any other distraction. Other features include Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness and Android Dashboard, thanks to Android 9.0 Pie.

It’s a hybrid dual SIM (Nano) smartphone that packs 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options onboard the smartphone include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS/ A-GPS/GLONASS/BDS, micro USB 2.0 port, USB OTG, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on the smartphone include proximity, accelerometer, magnetometer, ambient light, and gyroscope. The fingerprint sensor comes mounted on the rear panel.
