Expanding its M-series portfolio, Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy M32 budget smartphone in India for everyday gamers as it comes with MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and a 90Hz refresh rate.

Samsung Galaxy M32 carries a price tag of Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model and Rs. 16,999 for the higher 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone is scheduled to go live on sale starting June 28, 2021, via Amazon India in Black and Light Blue color options. It will also be available to buy from Samsung India’s online store and authorized retail outlets across the country.
ICICI Bank credit and debit cardholders can get up to Rs. 1,250 instant off if purchased online from either Amazon or Samsung store.

The smartphone features a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a 90HZ refresh rate and 800 nits brightness. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) SoC paired with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU and up to 6GB of RAM. Galaxy M32 has a dedicated slot for up to 1TB microSDXC card.
In terms of optics, the smartphone sports a quad-camera setup on the rear housing a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF + 8MP ultra-side (123-degree) sensor with f/2.2 aperture + 2MP macro sensor with f/2.2 aperture + 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front under the notch is the 24MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.
Samsung Galaxy M32 runs on Android 11-based One UI 3.1 and supports Samsung Knox, the company’s own security framework for real-time device protection to keep both business and personal data safe. The phone also supports Alt Z Life mode allowing you to set files, folders, photos, and apps private and protected. The private content can be accessed by pressing the side button twice quickly, a feature called Quick Switch. With Quick Switch, you can easily switch between main and private modes (refer to the image above). Samsung Pay Mini also comes pre-installed allowing you to make payments and transfer money using UPI.
Galaxy M32 accepts two Nano SIMs and packs a 6,000mAh massive battery that delivers a backup of up to 24 hours of internet usage time, 25 hours of video playtime, 130 hours of music playtime, and 40 hours of talk time/voice call. The phone comes bundled with a 15W charging adapter though it supports 25W fast charging. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS with A-GPS, USB Type-C 2.0, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on the smartphone include a fingerprint sensor (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, and magnetometer.
