Vietnam-based Mobiistar has officially entered Indian smartphone market with its selfie-focused smartphone line-up- Mobiistar XQ Dual and Mobiistar CQ. The phones are exclusive to Flipkart and will be up for grab starting May 30. XQ Dual is a complete package with a Qualcomm processor and dual front camera setup, for users on a hunt for a budget smartphone.
Launch offers and pricing: Price for the XQ Dual smartphone has been set to Rs. 7,999 (approx VND 2.7 million) while the Mobiistar CQ has been priced at Rs. 4,999 (approx VND 1.7 million). Both smartphones will be available to buy from May 30 via Flipkart in Black and Gold color options. Offers include Rs. 1,000 instant discount when you can exchange your used smartphone, in this case, any smartphone. You can also avail Flipkart complete smartphone protection plan at an extra Rs. 99 which covers all kinds of smartphone damages such as screen damage, software-related issues, accidental drops, liquid damage and offers repair or replacement guarantee. The plan includes doorstep pickup and delivery of the product and is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. You can also avail No Cost EMI on purchasing the smartphone via HDFC Bank credit card.
Jio is offering Rs. 2,200 instant cashback to users (both existing and new) on its network when they recharge with Rs. 198 or Rs. 299 prepaid plans on or before June 30 after the smartphone purchase. After you have made the first recharge, Jio will credit 44 vouchers worth Rs. 50 each into your MyJio account which can be used for future recharges. The vouchers will expire on May 31, 2022.
Mobiistar XQ Dual sports full metal unibody design with 5.5-inch FHD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display which is protected by Asahi Dragontrail 2.5D Glass. It is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core SoC paired with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear panel.
Camera department includes a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (phase detection autofocus), and dual-tone LED flash. Features on the rear camera include- HDR, 7 level Face Beauty, Professional Mode, Camera Filter and Night Mode. On the front side, the smartphone features dual selfie camera setup consisting of Samsung’s 13MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP OmniVision 120-degree Super wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The front dual camera setup comes paired with LED flash for better low light photography and includes features like HDR, 7 Level Face Beauty, and Camera Filter.

Connectivity options onboard XQ Dual include 4G VoLTE + ViLTE (video over LTE), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, micro USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. It is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC paired with Andreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and has no fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone features 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 7 Level Face Beauty, Camera Filter, HDR, Night mode, Professional mode, and LED flash. On the front side, the device sports 13MP selfie camera (no dual camera setup here) with f/2.0 aperture, 7 Level Face Beauty, Camera Filter, and HDR.
It accepts two Nano SIMs, has a dedicated microSD card slot and packs 3020mAh battery. Connectivity options onboard the Mobiistar CQ smartphone include 4G VoLTE +ViLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, micro USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack.
